Acceptance as an IBO Candidate School

On June 16th 2009 Mrs Mathison received a letter from the International Baccalaureate Organization which said:

"...I am pleased to be able to confirm that South Rise Primary School now has the status of PYP candidate school...

The phase your school is now beginning will involve putting in place processes and resources to implement the programme, including teacher training, curriculum development and providing opportunities for teachers to plan collaboratively for both horizontal and vertical articulation of the curriculum."
